The Benefits of Creating Remote Work Options for Employees

Rudler is proud to provide the options of flexible scheduling and to work remotely for employees who live locally or in other cities or states.

 

Heather Davis, CPA, started at Rudler in the summer of 2021 with two decades of experience in accounting. While her previous roles at various accounting firms were great, what sets Rudler apart from the rest is the flexible schedule that provides her with a true work-life balance.

As a mother to three daughters, ages 7, 9 and 11, she has a lot of schedules and activities to juggle. In addition to spending time with her children she also often leverages PTO to serve as a substitute teacher in her daughters’ school district, Lakota Local Schools. In addition, she volunteers in her daughters’ classrooms when she has the chance.

Heather also plays in the Southwestern Ohio Symphonic Band. She mostly plays mallet percussion, which includes keyboards and xylophones. She considers playing in the band her “me time.”

Participating in all of these activities wouldn’t be possible without Rudler’s flexibility. Being able to work part time and remotely provides her with the ability to work from home and spend time doing the things she really loves outside of work.
