Mike Jeffers, CPA

“Thoughtful, persistent and straightforward.” Those are the three words Mike Jeffers uses to summarize his approach to his work as a CPA. “I try to be thoughtful when approaching an opportunity and look for efficiencies,” says Mike. “I also like to learn a new process and try to improve it in a positive way. If you find the quickest way to an answer, everybody gets some time back in their day and you get a better solution.”

Mike joined Rudler, PSC in August 2022, as an Assurance Senior Manager, bringing with him three decades of experience working in a variety of roles in the financial and accounting fields. He began his career as a staff accountant at Deloitte & Touche in 1992. He eventually worked his way up to becoming an audit manager by the time he left.

He then worked for Doctors’ Urgent Care Offices and transitioned to the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (UC Health) as its West Chester Hospital Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). There, he oversaw the budgeting and financial aspects of the new market hospital including managing the construction budget which was in excess of $100 million. He then returned to Doctors’ Urgent Care Offices as its Executive Vice President / CFO.

Now that he is part of the Rudler, PSC team, Mike hopes to show his coworkers and clients how his experience is a valuable asset to the team.

Mike lives in the Cincinnati suburb of Mason, Ohio with his wife, Melissa. They have three adult children: Lauren, Ryan and Adam. When he’s not hard at work for Rudler’s clients, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and golfing in his spare time.
