Gina Dabrowski, Senior Client Accounting Specialist

Gina Dabrowski is a Northern Kentucky native. But having lived in Tennessee, Ohio, Michigan, Germany and now Florida, it might seem unlikely that she would end up finding a dream job back home but from 900+ miles away.
As a native of Fort Thomas that now lives in Melbourne, Fla., Gina and works remotely for the firm, she was promoted to a Senior Client Accounting Specialist position in Jan. 2026, less than two years after first joining the firm in Feb. 2024. In her new role, she will expand upon her previous duties, including managing accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, QuickBooks management, and preparing monthly financial statements to support client growth and tax compliance. Additionally, Gina will help to develop staff, coaching them through their work to ensure they reach their full potential.
Gina’s road to Rudler is one that features stops at several companies along the way. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration/Business Administration from the University of North Florida in 2000, she would begin her career in 2001 as a sales reporting specialist position with Citigroup in Florence. There she was responsible for managing approximately $2.5 million in sales compensation annually. While there, she earned her MBA from Thomas More University in Oct. 2005.
From there she moved to Procter & Gamble (P&G), working in its Finance & Accounting Department. In her two years at P&G, her sales and use tax compliance and research efforts directly resulted in audit savings exceeding $2.4 million, manufacturing refund claims exceeding $250,000 and tax research savings of $91,000.
She worked at E.W. Scripps Company in Cincinnati and Clear Channel Media & Entertainment in Farmington Hills, Mich. She would then, however, spend 10 years away from the workforce once her husband, Joseph, took an expat assignment in Germany. That time would be well worth it, however, as it would see Gina become a stay-at-home mother to the couple’s two children, Weston and Evie.
Moving back stateside, Gina convinced her husband to take a job in a warm weather climate in sunny Florida, where she had once lived before. Deciding it was time to get back to work herself, she took notice when a former Citigroup co-worker mentioned his wife’s place of employment.
“We had kept in touch and he mentioned his wife, who is also named Gina, really liked her firm, and that they have some remote employees in Florida now,” she recalls. “He encouraged me to apply and that's how I ended up here.”
Following a “natural progression” from finance to tax and accounting work, Gina is proof that you can go home again – even if it means working remotely.
“I like working at Rudler because of the variety of clients and its people-first mindset,” she says. “They focus on hiring great people and then finding the right roles for them, which is exactly what I was looking for as a mother of two working remotely who still wanted to feel connected to an office.”
No matter where she is, though, Gina wants her clients to know they can depend on her to look out for their interests. “I try really hard to always do what's best for the client while trying to build those relationships,” she says.
Away from work, Gina enjoys spending time with her family, including their goldendoodle, Lulu. As a family, they enjoy attending sporting events and traveling. In addition to reading and occasionally volunteering to do beach cleanup with Keep Brevard Beautiful, she also enjoys watching Korean dramas and other foreign TV series. “I watch a lot of foreign shows because when you’re reading the subtitles, you have to focus and can’t have other thoughts going through your head,” she says.
