Kelsey McCloskey, Business Development Coordinator
By her own admission, Kelsey McCloskey is not a numbers person. But given her track record of building and implementing software accounts for small and medium-sized clients, selling products, and scouting and generating business, one might be inclined to disagree with that statement.
As the new Business Development Coordinator for Rudler, PSC, Kelsey has set a goal of being someone all her future clients can count on, pun intended.
As a Northern Kentucky native now living in Edgewood, Kelsey joined Rudler, PSC in Jan. 2026 in the new role of Business Development Coordinator. In her role, she helps the firm reach its growth goals, by contacting potential new clients while discussing expanded service options to existing ones.
Kelsey brings an extensive knowledge to the new position, experience which she plans to draw upon to help her in the role. A 2012 graduate of the University of Kentucky, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications and Information Studies and followed that with a career at Citibank as a customer and sales associate. From there, she took a position with Insight Global of Cincinnati, spending just over two years working on inside and outside sales for its IT staffing service division. The role would also see her recruit and screen candidates, and scout territories and companies to generate business.
She joined Paycor in the summer of 2016 as a national sales executive before eventually working her way up to a guide/digital payroll implementation consultant role. Kelsey would learn of the new position at Rudler via a CPA friend at the firm who thought the role would be perfect for her.
Given her first impressions of her new employer, Kelsey’s friend was correct in her assessment.
“Everyone here knows everyone and is pretty close, so it's a welcoming environment, which I really like,” she says. “That’s why I was so excited about this position as I was looking for a change, something different and a new environment – that’s what excites me the most about this position.”
With nearly a decade of experience in the professional sales industry under her belt, Kelsey is ready to help show all Rudler’s future clients why they are the right firm to attend to their needs.
Away from work, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and their two cats named after “Friends” characters Ross and Monica. A huge Cincinnati Bengals fan by her own admission, she also enjoys reading, travelling – New York City being her favorite destination to date – and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys volunteering at events on behalf of Easterseals Redwood, the nonprofit organization where her father is a board member.
